Production Clerk - Cape Town

About the position

Our client in the Healthcare Industry is seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Production Clerk to join their Production team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the accurate capturing, analysis, and reporting of daily production data to support informed operational decision-making, drive efficiency improvements, and ensure achievement of production targets.
This role is integral to enhancing visibility of production performance across employees, machinery, departments, and product lines, while contributing to operational excellence, productivity optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives within the production environment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical capability, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and performance-driven environment.
Minimum Requirements:

• Matric (Grade 12) or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum of 5 years’ relevant working experience in a similar role.
• Proven experience within a factory, assembly line, or production facility environment.
• Diploma or Certificate in Production, Operations, Supply Chain, or a related field will be advantageous.
• Strong computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage conflict effectively and maintain positive working relationships.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to interpret production data and present insights in a clear and meaningful manner.
• Methodical and highly organised, with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to perform effectively under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Demonstrated ability to use initiative, work independently, and contribute effectively within a team environment.
