Product Support Manager

About the position

Product Support Senior Manager with relevant Mining experience, a relevant tertiary qualification (Engineering / Earthmoving Equipment or Diesel Mech Trade) and minimum 8 years' earthmoving equipment experience (hydraulic and electrical), required to oversee and manage various aspects of product support services for mining and construction equipment.

Minimum requirements:

• Formal Tertiary Qualification essential - Engineer Degree or Earthmoving Equipment/Diesel Trade
• Minimum 8 years' earthmoving equipment in the Mining Sector essential
• Technical knowledge and skills with troubleshooting and faultfinding experience essential - Minimum 5 years
• Minimum 5 years' People Management experience required
• Reliability Engineering experience highly beneficial
• Mining Site exposure essential
• OEM experience essential
• Ability to lead a team, understand technical aspects and deliver exceptional customer service required

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage various aspects of product support services for mining and construction equipment - specific to Mining Clients
• Ensure customer satisfaction and smooth functioning of product support services
• Strategic Impact - identify and exploit new business opportunities
• Product Support - obersee all Dealers with technical enquiries and problems with machines, FIR investigation, oversee cause of problem, enforce bulletin instruction, manage and assist with technical support to external customers, continuous monitoring of service and product quality

• Customer relations and relationship management
• People management - Team of 7 Product Support Specialists
