Key outcomes of the role:
- Provide customer support
- Identify support trends for product improvement and report on these
- Assist with improvement of support delivery services (new ways of doing)
- Assist with fleet maintenance
- Assist with office infrastructure management
Key responsibilities
- Provide technical product support
- Report on customer support trends and improvements
- Test software
- Maintain fleet (motorcycles)
- Manage office technical infrastructure
- Manage company online presence and contribution on technical forums
Required experience
- customer support : 3 to 4 years
- information technology infrastructure library : 3 to 4 years
- technical hardware : 3 to 4 years
- diagnostic analysis of software/hardware failures : 3 to 4 years
Candidate Requirements
Qualification and experience required:
- A tertiary qualification in technical field
- Motorcycle dirver's licence
- Minimum of 3 years Technical customer support
- Software testing
Knowledge & skills required:
- Diagnostic tools
- Relevant technical product knowledge.
- Good knowledge of various desktop and mobile operating systems.
- Excellent knowledge IT infrastructure, networking and other related IT systems and devices.
- Good knowledge of software and how it interfaces with IT systems and other software.
- Some firmware knowledge would be advantageous.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
- SAGE
- Planning & organising skills
- Problem solving
- Exceptional written and verbal skills.
- Aptitude for and understanding of vehicle related diagnostic and other technical hardware and software.
- Ability to learn new technical information rapidly
