About the Role:
We are seeking a Senior Product Owner with 7+ years of experience in product management within the payments or fintech space. The successful candidate will lead the strategy, design, and delivery of innovative payment channel solutions, including card payments, digital wallets, bank transfers, and alternative payment methods. This role is ideal for a seasoned professional who can balance business objectives, customer experience, and technical feasibility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own the vision, strategy, and roadmap for payment channels, aligning with business goals.
- Lead requirement gathering, prioritisation, and backlog management for payment products.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, UX/UI, operations, risk, and compliance) to deliver secure and scalable payment solutions.
- Define detailed user stories, acceptance criteria, and ensure successful delivery in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Monitor product performance, KPIs, and optimize features based on analytics and market trends.
- Ensure compliance with payment regulations and standards, including PCI-DSS, PSD2, ISO 20022.
- Act as the subject matter expert for payment channels and mentor junior product owners.
- Stay current with payment technologies and trends to drive innovation.
Requirements - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, or related field; Master’s preferred.
- 7+ years of experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager in payments, fintech, or banking.
- Deep understanding of payment channels, including card processing, ACH, mobile payments, digital wallets, and gateways.
- Strong knowledge of payment regulations, security standards, and industry best practices.
- Proven track record of delivering end-to-end payment solutions.
- Experience leading Agile/Scrum teams and managing complex product backlogs.
