Your expertise in navigating the intricacies of safety technologies ensures that you are well-equipped to drive innovation and deliver impactful solutions in this dynamic role.

What you'll be doing
As the Product Manager, you will lead the entire product life cycle of our client's Collision Prevention Systems, Proximity Detection Systems or Gas Detection Instrumentation, Fire Detection Systems and Environmental Monitoring Systems. You'll develop a comprehensive product strategy, collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive product development, coordinate R&D efforts, and ensure product quality and reliability through rigorous testing protocols. Your innovative thinking and strong project management skills will be crucial in bringing this cutting-edge safety technology to market successfully.

Where you'll be doing it
Our client is an Original Equipment Manufacturer delivering technological solutions to improve safety and productivity in mining and industrial sectors. You will be based at their offices in the East Rand, Gauteng.

What you'll need
You will need a Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline, business, or a related field, along with 8 years of proven experience in product management, preferably in safety or mining-related technologies. Your deep understanding of Collision Prevention Systems, Proximity Detection Systems or Gas Detection Instrumentation, Fire Detection Systems and Environmental Monitoring Systems and related safety technologies will be essential in this role. Strong leadership, strategic thinking, communication, and analytical skills are also crucial, as well as experience in project management and successfully delivering complex projects on time and within budget. These qualifications will enable you to excel in driving innovation and ensuring the success of critical projects.
