The Role: Product Manager Luxury African Travel
As Product Manager, youll take ownership of a world-class portfolio of African travel experiences from curating exclusive destinations to optimising supplier partnerships and driving product innovation. This role bridges strategy, relationships, and technology to deliver unforgettable experiences while supporting operational excellence and brand growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the integration and launch of new destinations and product offerings across systems and teams
- Manage and nurture relationships with lodges, DMC partners, and key suppliers across Africa
- Represent the company at trade shows and industry events to build partnerships and brand visibility
- Monitor supplier performance, track KPIs, and share actionable insights with stakeholders
- Collaborate with Sales, Operations, and Marketing to ensure product information is accurate and compelling
- Identify trends and opportunities to expand and refine the product portfolio
- Drive innovation through process optimisation, technology, and automation
About You
- Minimum 3 years of experience in product or supplier management within luxury travel or tourism
- Deep knowledge of Southern and East African destinations and strong industry relationships
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills
- Analytical and detail-oriented with a data-driven approach to decision-making
- Proficiency with travel systems such as Tourplan, Globetrack, or Kaptio
- Passionate about African travel, conservation, and creating transformative guest experiences
- Proactive, collaborative, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment
