Job Description
- Oversee the overall sales performance, profit margins, and growth of your software portfolio.
- Manage healthy, direct business relationships with leading global and local retail software vendors.
- Collaborate closely with marketing teams to create exciting product promotions and sales campaigns.
- Help reseller sales teams present point of sale solutions to prospective enterprise clients.
- Host engaging training sessions to teach channel partners about the latest software features.
- Track stock levels, software licensing, and order deliveries to ensure smooth customer operations.
- Monitor vendor rebates and performance targets to maximize earnings for your business unit.
What You Need to Apply
- A recognized Degree or National Diploma in Information Technology, Business Management, or Marketing.
- Proven product management or brand management experience within the ICT distribution sector.
- Solid commercial background working with retail software, ERP, or point of sale solutions.
- Strong track record of building positive relationships with South African IT channel resellers.
- Confident communication skills to pitch solutions and negotiate contracts with commercial decision makers.
- Good understanding of software licensing, subscription renewals, and vendor rebate programs.
- A positive attitude, a keen willingness to learn, and strong teamwork skills.
