About the position

Responsibilities

 

• Interrogates requirements to identify design drivers.
• Willing and able to wrestle with complex and conflicting requirements and drives forward

balanced solutions that deliver against mission objectives.

• Contributes high-quality ideas in brainstorming sessions.
• Familiar with advanced CAD techniques (including parametric modelling) and develops

complex part models, drawings and assemblies.

• Effectively engages with suppliers and other stakeholders on technical matters to identify

the optimal balance of design cost, CAPEX, and material cost.

• Develops design specifications that support efficient risk management.
• Independently plans and conducts best-practice critical evaluation, and can present

results and lead with recommendations.
