Minimum requirements:

• National Senior Certificate.
• Relevant previous experience.
• Valid driver’s licence.
• Computer literate, with proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• General knowledge of fruit and vegetable production.
• Proficient in handling data and working with systems.
• Relevant tertiary qualification will be beneficial.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Coordinate and manage procurement strategy:
  • Ensure sufficient product is packed according to marketing requirements.
  • Liaise with the commercial team and suppliers regarding product availability.
  • Ensure correct packaging is consistently used.
  • Source new suppliers and products that align with the company’s sales offering.
  • Handle final price negotiations when sourcing products.
  
  


• Coordinate all administrative tasks between the company and farms.


• Quality control on products.


• Physical stock takes in cold-rooms and reconcile with the system.


• Manage packaging materials.


• Maintain professional relationships with farmers to uphold a positive company image.


• Provide general assistance to the commercial team.
