About the position
We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Product Analyst to join our dynamic team based in Sandton, Johannesburg. This role is key in driving after-sales initiatives that support Dealer performance and Genuine Parts sales.
Role Overview
The successful candidate will be responsible for the conceptualization, development, and execution of after-sales campaigns and promotions aimed at increasing Dealer Throughput and achieving Genuine Parts sales targets. The role includes developing business cases, conducting in-depth market and product analysis, and supporting key projects across Own Workshop and Over-the-Counter channels.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic after-sales campaigns and promotions to drive sales performance.
- Compile and present business cases for campaign approval to After Sales and Finance management.
- Support various projects across Own Workshop and Over-the-Counter channels.
- Conduct market research and HPG (Homogenous Parts Group) analysis to identify trends and opportunities.
- Monitor campaign performance and Dealer engagement; compile regular reports for internal stakeholders.
- Liaise with Dealers to gather insights, address queries, and support ongoing Product Management initiatives.
- Coordinate Dealer incentive programs, including setting targets and tracking progress.
- Deliver campaign briefings and workshops for Dealers and support the Field Force Team with performance data.
- Assist in broader after-sales initiatives, including Bulk Deals, Save a Car, and customer loyalty programmes.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Sales, Business Management, Data Science, Commerce, Engineering, IT, or a related field.
Experience & Skills
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in After Sales, Dealer Operations, Campaigns/Promotions Management, or a Marketing environment.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite and data analytics tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Python, or Google Analytics.
- Strong understanding of OEM/Importer and Dealer after-sales operations is preferred.
- Proven skills in campaign planning, business case development, and marketing communication.
- Excellent interpersonal, analytical, and critical thinking abilities.
- Familiarity with customer loyalty and retention strategies.
- Ability to work under pressure, with a strong focus on quality and commercial results.
Added Advantage
- Postgraduate qualification (MBA, MBL, Honours).
- Experience in pricing, branding, technical interpretation, and parts sales.
