About the position

Opportunity: Procurement Supervisor - Permanent Position

Location: Based in Durban (KwaZulu-Natal Regional Office)

We are looking for a Procurement Supervisor ready to take the next step in their career with one of our clients, South Africa's leading public health institutions - responsible for supporting the national healthcare system with critical diagnostic services.

In this role, you will:

  • Oversee sourcing and capital expenditure processes.
  • Ensure procurement aligns with PFMA, PPPFA and internal policies.
  • Manage supplier relations and performance.
  • Train, develop, and supervise procurement staff.
  • Ensure goods and services are delivered timeously to support healthcare operations.

What we're looking for:

  • Diploma/Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Procurement, or Business (NQF 6).
  • At least 5 years' procurement experience.
  • Strong knowledge of ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) and PFMA/PPPFA.
  • Excellent financial, supervisory, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to thrive under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
