About the position
A Well - Established Company on the seeks a Procurement Specialist
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end procurement process, including sourcing, purchasing and supplier management.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Analyse purchasing trends, stock movement and identify slow-moving inventory.
- Monitor inventory levels and implement effective replenishment strategies.
- Negotiate pricing, lead times and supply agreements with vendors.
- Prepare procurement reports, forecasts and performance analysis.
- Collaborate closely with the sales and marketing teams to support business objectives.
- Identify opportunities to improve procurement processes and implement efficiencies.
- Maintain and update procurement systems and CRM information where applicable.
- Coordinate with clients and suppliers, including attending meetings and business lunches.
- Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures.
- Assist with strategic sourcing initiatives and annual supplier reviews.
- Support the procurement team in achieving departmental targets and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Travel locally and internationally (including occasional travel to China) when required.
Minimum Requirements
- 3–5 years' experience in a Procurement Specialist or similar procurement role.
- Proven experience in purchasing, supplier management and inventory control.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret procurement and stock data.
- Experience with forecasting, reporting and identifying procurement trends.
- Excellent negotiation, communication and relationship-building skills.
- Strong planning, organisational and problem-solving abilities.
- Proactive, target-driven and able to work under pressure.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel; ERP/CRM system experience is advantageous.
- Experience working closely with sales, marketing and operations teams.
- Willingness to travel internationally if required.
- Relevant qualification in Procurement, Supply Chain or Logistics is advantageous but not essential.
- Must reside within approximately 20–25 km of Linbro Business Park.
