About the position
A leader in the Mining/Manufacturing industry is currently looking to fill the role of Procurement Manager for their business.
Minimum Requirements:
- Develop and execute fact-based category strategies on a regional level in close alignment with stakeholders.
- Budget, costs, price and quality management.
- Plan and lead sourcing projects, engaging stakeholders and required cross functional resources.
- Define supplier base and secure capacity, plan and coordinate implementation (timeline, resources, cost, quality).
- Comply with Safety, Health and Environment standards.
- Manage spend; monitor compliance to category strategies/ approved vendor lists.
- Manage supplier development/ performance and setup / contribute to supplier relationship programs with key suppliers.
- Ensure compliance of the category strategies and sourcing projects
