Position: Procurement Manager (Direct Spend)

Role Summary: Responsible for planning and coordinating all supply chain activities to ensure efficient product supply, optimal stock levels, and accurate demand forecasting. This role focuses on enhancing operational systems, improving efficiency, and reducing costs while maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Relevant Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or B.Com Finance.
- Minimum 5 years of planning experience, preferably in the Pharma/FMCG industry.
- 3-5 years of supply chain experience in warehousing/logistics.
- 3-5 years of managerial experience.
- Knowledge of advanced supply chain planning on Oracle is advantageous.
- Strong understanding of logistics and supply chain principles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage supplier service contracts and cost control, negotiating reductions based on volume.
- Implement and oversee cost measurement and reporting systems.
- Ensure continuous coordination and communication with stakeholders, including regulatory affairs, suppliers, and manufacturing teams.
- Drive compliance with SOPs and ensure effective implementation.
- Maintain strong relationship management and ensure prompt response to queries.
- Optimize manufacturing scheduling to align with demand forecasts and distribution needs.
- Oversee planning and purchasing for third-party manufacturers to ensure stable supply.
- Enhance planning processes through system reviews and stock target assessments.
- Address business unit queries within agreed SLA timelines.
- Maintain optimal stock levels through close coordination with internal teams.
- Support supplier audits and source alternative suppliers to ensure competitive supply.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements for raw materials and packaging.
- Lead projects for the implementation of new materials and packaging.
