About the position
Looking for a Procurement & Supply Planning Manager for a client in the manufacturing space based in Johannesburg. The key function will be collating all data from various divisions such as logistics, sales, finance etc . Proven experience in procurement, supply chain and inventory management at a senior level is key.
- Procurement and/or supply chain qualification is preferred
- Ability to develop strategic supplier relationships and manage complex procurement processes.
- Sound understanding of stock optimisation, supply chain efficiency and risk management
- Plan and manage procurement and shipping to ensure timely, cost effective deliveries
- Ensure reliable product availability to ensure optimal stock performance
- Provide strategic leadership and detailed and accurate reporting to support business growth and supply chain performance
- Very strong data analysis and analytic skills required
- Working knowledge of Netstock or similar would be beneficial
