About the position
Our client is looking for a candidate to coordinate the Procurement function, Installations by ensuring that material/stock is procured and sourced from local and international suppliers at the best price, quality and within the planned lead times.
Location: Parow
Requirements:
? Buying / Supply Chain Tertiary Qualification
? 5-8 years buying/ procurement experience
? Experience within manufacturing industry or electrical industry advantageous
? Experience in supervising a team advantageous
? Experience in directly negotiating with global suppliers and working across cross - cultural environments
? Strong understanding of contract law and procurement compliance
? Proficient in ERP systems
? Advanced Excel / Google sheets skills
? Competencies required: negotiation, integrity, performing under pressure, relationship building & Flexibility.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
? Sourcing new suppliers (international & local)
? Sourcing new and better products through negotiation process
? Relationship management with International Sourcing Office (Shanghai)
? Ensure supplier visits & meetings are conducted (existing and new)
? Assist management team with reaching GP Margins through sourcing initiatives
? Manage price list of brands
? Constantly communicate with stakeholders regarding new & discontinued products
? Supplier Management via supplier reviews
? Conduct annual price reviews
? Procurement Reports Management
? Lead procurement team in absence of manager
