Procurement & Finance Administrator

About the position

A leading supplier of high-quality cotton products, specialising in the global textile industry, is seeking an organised and detail orientated Procurement & Finance Administrator to support key operational efficiencies. The position is based in Boksburg.
This mid-level role bridges procurement, manufacturing coordination, and financial administration.

The ideal candidate will have experience working in a textile or manufacturing environment and be comfortable using accounting systems to manage stock, suppliers, and financial transactions.

Key Responsibilities:

Procurement :

• Create, process and manage purchase orders for raw materials and supplies.
• Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and quality compliance
• Capture and monitor manufacturing processes and stock movements in the accounting system
• Assist in production planning and inventory control

Finance & Administration:

• Assist with accounts payable and receivable (creditors and debtors)
• Reconcile accounts and assist with month-end financial reporting
• Liaise with suppliers and internal teams to ensure smooth operations
• Maintain accurate records of procurement and production costs

Requirements:

• Experience with accounting or ERP systems (Sage)
• Understanding of procurement and manufacturing workflows
• 3–5 years’ experience in procurement, manufacturing, or finance
• Basic finance knowledge (debtors, creditors, reconciliations)
• Strong understanding of stock control and cost tracking
• Good communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and collaborate across departments

The proposed salary for the role is R15k - R22k per month. The offer will be market related aligned with qualifications, skills, and experience.
