About the position
Description:
Hire Resolve's client is currently seeking a skilled and experienced Process Plant Engineer to join their mining team in the Northern Cape. As the Process Plant Engineer, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing the process plant operations, ensuring efficient and safe production processes, and optimizing plant performance.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and optimize process plant operations and production processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions.
- Analyze data and conduct audits to ensure compliance with regulations and standards.
- Optimize plant performance by identifying opportunities for process improvements.
- Develop and maintain operating standards and procedures.
- Lead and mentor a team of engineers and technicians.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements to drive continuous improvement.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering.
- 3 Years experience as a GCC Engineer (Mines & Works)
- 5 years experience on crushing and screening plant, conveyor systems, automated Stackers/Reclaimers, and general infrastructure.
- 5 years experience in Opencast Mining/Process Plant Environment.
- Strong knowledge of process plant operations and production processes.
- Experience in optimizing plant performance and implementing process improvements.
- Familiarity with relevant regulations and standards.
Benefits:
- Salary: 1.8mil p/a - 2.4mil p/a
