Process Operator (Food / Chemical Industry) (Relocation role: The Netherlands)

About the position

ENVIRONMENT:

JOIN a global Investment Group focused on building scalable digital businesses seeking international talent and its next Process Operator (Food / Chemical Industry) to work in industrial production environments in the Netherlands (food and/or chemical industry). You will be responsible for operating, monitoring, and optimizing production processes to ensure efficiency, quality, and safety. Applicants will be required to have N4-N5 Process Engineering + Trade Test (Red Seal or equivalent), an equivalent to MBO 3–4 / VAPRO B level & proven experience in food, chemical, or industrial production environments. The package will include full relocation support and structured onboarding and Dutch language support.

 

DUTIES:

• Operate and control production installations and process equipment.
• Monitor process parameters and adjust where necessary.
• Troubleshoot and resolve process deviations or minor technical issues.
• Ensure product quality meets defined standards.
• Perform first-line maintenance and inspections.
• Work according to strict safety, hygiene, and operational procedures.
• Accurately log production data and report abnormalities.
• Collaborate with Technical Service and Production teams.

 

REQUIREMENTS:

• N4–N5 Process Engineering + Trade Test (Red Seal or equivalent).
• Equivalent to MBO 3–4 / VAPRO B level.
• Proven experience in food, chemical, or industrial production environments.
• Comfortable working in shift systems (including 5-shift operations).
• Strong technical and problem-solving mindset.
• Afrikaans-speaking is a strong advantage (fast Dutch language adaptation).
• Willing to relocate to the Netherlands.
