We're Hiring: Process Engineer
Are you an experienced Process Engineer looking for your next opportunity? Our client is seeking a motivated and results-driven professional to join their team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree or National Diploma in Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial, or Process Engineering.
- Minimum of 3–5 years' experience as a Process Engineer in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Strong knowledge of process optimisation, continuous improvement, Lean Manufacturing, and Six Sigma principles.
- Experience with process mapping, root cause analysis, and implementing corrective actions.
- Ability to analyse production data and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, quality, and cost.
- Knowledge of health, safety, environmental, and quality standards.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and engineering-related software.
- Valid driver's licence will be advantageous.
- Clear criminal record.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, monitor, and optimise manufacturing processes to improve productivity and efficiency.
- Identify process bottlenecks and implement sustainable improvements.
- Conduct process investigations and root cause analyses.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives to reduce waste and improve product quality.
- Develop and update process documentation, work instructions, and standard operating procedures.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards.
- Collaborate with production, maintenance, quality, and engineering teams to achieve operational targets.
- Analyse production data and prepare technical reports with recommendations.
- Support new product introductions and process validation activities.
