Process Clerk

About the position

Our client is a wholesale distribution company providing the market with pet food, pet accessories, animal feed and pharmaceuticals.
They want to appoint a Processing Clerk/Internal Sales Officer who will be responsible for the internal sales flow in the company - from receiving the order from the customer or sales reps, communicating the order to the warehouse, to the dispatch of the order, and liaision with the customer on whether the order was received. Candidates must be able to communicate clearly and effictively on the telephone with customers.

Duties:

• Perform an internal sales function.
• Receive orders telephonically from clients and execute them.
• Processing sales orders on the financial system and on the company's order management system (OMS).
• Communicate with the warehouse manager to ensure the order has been processed, loaded and dispatched.
• Communicate with clients daily to ensure customer satisfaction.
• You'll be coached and supported by an excellent team wanting to see you succeed.

Skills and Requirements:

• A minimum of grade 12/matric.
• Good communication skills and min 2 years' experience in telesales.
• Fluent in Afrikaans and English.
• An aptitude for negotiation and persuasion.
• Highly motivated, determined, and target driven.
• Good interpersonal skills and like to work with people.
• Team player
• Able to operate independently.
