About the position

This is a remote position.

We are seeking a Senior Cloud Technology Sales Specialist to drive cloud solution sales, develop new business opportunities, and support clients on their digital transformation journeys. The successful candidate will combine strong technology knowledge with commercial expertise to identify opportunities, build trusted client relationships, and deliver tailored cloud solutions aligned to business objectives. This role requires a consultative sales approach, working closely with account teams, solution architects, and technology partners to achieve revenue targets.


Key Responsibilities

  • Drive cloud technology sales strategies across assigned accounts and territories.
  • Generate and manage sales pipeline through proactive business development and lead conversion.
  • Identify client needs and position cloud solutions that deliver measurable business value.
  • Partner with pre-sales architects and technical teams to develop solution proposals and presentations.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including executive-level clients.
  • Conduct client workshops, solution presentations, and strategic discussions.
  • Manage the full sales cycle from opportunity identification through negotiation and closure.
  • Develop account plans, opportunity strategies, forecasts, and sales execution plans.
  • Collaborate with cloud technology vendors and internal teams to deliver competitive solutions.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and evolving cloud technologies to identify opportunities.
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets, revenue goals, and performance objectives.
Required Experience & Qualifications
  • Proven experience in technology sales, managed services, or cloud solutions environments.
  • Demonstrated success in achieving and exceeding sales targets and revenue objectives.
  • Strong understanding of cloud technologies, platforms, and digital transformation solutions.
  • Experience selling complex technology solutions to enterprise clients.
  • Proven ability to engage and influence senior business and technical stakeholders.
  • Strong consultative selling, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
  • Experience working with sales methodologies, account planning, forecasting, and CRM tools.
  • Ability to understand business challenges and translate them into technology solutions.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in Information Technology, Business, Sales, or related field.
  • Relevant cloud/vendor sales certifications preferred.
Technical & Domain Skills
  • Cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Cloud migration, modernisation, and transformation services.
  • Cloud infrastructure, security, governance, and managed cloud services.
  • Enterprise technology solution selling.
  • Hybrid cloud and multi-cloud environments.
  • Cloud partner ecosystems and vendor solutions.
  • Solution design collaboration with technical teams.
  • Digital transformation and IT strategy concepts.
