Primary Health Care Registered Nurse at MSP

About the position

Our client is seeking an experienced Primary Health Care Registered Nurse to join a professional healthcare team in the Western Cape. This opportunity is ideal for a compassionate nursing professional who is passionate about providing comprehensive, patient-centred primary healthcare services within a community-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive primary healthcare services to patients across all age groups
• Conduct patient assessments, consultations, and health screenings
• Diagnose, treat, and manage common acute and chronic conditions within the scope of practice
• Provide health education, preventative care, and chronic disease management
• Dispense medication in accordance with regulatory requirements
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with clinical and infection prevention standards
• Promote quality patient care while working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team

Minimum Requirements:

• Diploma in General Nursing
• Diploma in Primary Health Care Nursing
• Registered with the South African Nursing Council (SANC) as a Professional Nurse
• Dispensing Licence and NIMART Certificate
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in Primary Health Care Nursing
• Experience in Community Health Nursing; qualification will be advantageous
• Computer literacy (MS Office)
• Experience in TB Management will be advantageous
