Preschool Phase Teaching Assistant

About the position

PURPOSE

The main purpose of this position is to provide a professional, maintaining high standard and quality Educare service in the Pre-primary Section, in line with the principles of the organisation's Educare Centre, to ensure that children develop optimally, providing stimulation, care of the children in a safe, healthy, and safe environment.

KEY AREAS

• Support and assist the teacher in basic planning, assessment (verbal input) and implementation
• Assist in providing health care to children with basic Health and Safety regulations
• General

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

• NQF 2 in ECD or related fields
• 3 years ECD, teaching experience

• Observation, verbal reporting, conflict resolution, problem solving, listening, communication skills and interpersonal skills.
• Analytical thinking, level headedness, think objectively, innovative, visionary skills, leadership skills and negotiation.

PROFESSIONAL REGISTRATION OR LICENSE REQUIREMENTS

• SACE certificate
• NCF certificate
• First Aid certificate (updated every 2 years)
• Basic computer skills
