PR Eng Electrical Engineer (Process Plant / EPC)

Role Purpose
E&C SA is seeking a highly skilled and registered PR Eng Electrical Engineer to lead and approve the design, engineering, and supervision of electrical systems within complex process plant environments.
The ideal candidate will bring EPC/EPCM project experience and a solid background in brownfield and greenfield industrial plant electrical systems
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Design & Technical Leadership
Lead electrical engineering design for process plant projects (HV/MV/LV systems).
Approve, sign off, and take professional responsibility for electrical design documents and drawings.
Perform detailed engineering including cable sizing, earthing, power distribution, MCCs, substations, and lighting systems.
Conduct and review power system studies (load flow, short circuit, protection coordination, etc.)
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Minimum 8–15+ years electrical engineering experience.
Strong background in process plant environments (refineries, petrochemical, utilities, tank farms, gasification, etc.).
Proven EPC/EPCM project experience at reputable firms such as:
PDPS
MegChem
Fluor
Worley Parsons
Wood
Proconics
Demonstrated ability to sign off on engineering designs and supervise construction.
Advantageous
Sasol project experience (greenfield, brownfield, shutdowns).
Experience leading engineering teams or acting as Lead Engineer on multi-discipline projects.
Familiarity with Sasol specifications and governance frameworks.
