You're a detail-oriented and analytical engineer who thrives in a collaborative team environment. You enjoy mentoring others, managing client relationships, and solving complex technical problems. You take initiative, communicate effectively, and work well both independently and in a team. You're excited by the opportunity to make a tangible impact in the renewable energy sector.
You'll be conducting advanced protection coordination and arc flash studies, while also delivering broader power system studies such as grid code compliance and grid impact assessments. You'll mentor and support junior engineers, manage projects across budgets and resources, and help grow the client base through strong relationships. Your work will support projects across South Africa and the broader African continent, working with teams locally and in the UK.

You'll need a Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechatronic Engineering, along with experience in protection settings, arc flash studies, and tools like DIgSILENT PowerFactory. Familiarity with the South African Grid Code is essential. A postgraduate degree and ECSA registration are highly desirable, as is experience with EMT studies, CDEGS/XGSLab, or on-site protection testing.
