About the position

Introduction

We are seeking an enthusiastic an Accoutnting Lecturer to join an academic instiution. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering high-qualityinstruction,preparing course materials and fostering a positive and engaging learning enviroment

Duties & Responsibilities

• To design, develop and produce learning and teaching material; deliver either across a range of modules or within a specific subject area and inspiring meaningful discussions, consulting with other academics and professionals.
• Lecturers will ensure the efficient and effective delivery of teaching programmes and grading assignments according to the Institutions' strategy, policy, and procedures, contributing to activities that influence leading-edge practice.
• Preparing and delivering lectures, tutorials, workshops, and seminars.
• Setting and grading assignments, tests, and exams.
• Attending and participating in meetings, conferences, and other events in and outside of the Institution.
• All academic staff are expected to engage in activities associated with the Institution's promotion, marketing, and public outreach.

Desired Experience & Qualification

• A relevant Honours degree (NQF 8) in related field of study with sufficient breadth or depth of specialist knowledge in the related field.
• Must have studied (Taxation, Auditing and Finanacial management
• Published work would be advantageous.
• Flexibility, resilience, and willingness to work extended hours to reach deliverables.
• Strong interpersonal, presentation, and written and verbal communication skills.
