You're commercially sharp and operationally strong, with the confidence of a General Manager or Operations Manager. You understand how businesses run - financially, strategically and operationally. Calm under pressure and solutions-driven, you engage confidently with stakeholders while keeping performance, profitability and risk firmly in focus. You don't just manage processes; you optimise them.
You'll take full operational ownership of a growing portfolio of solar PV and battery assets, ensuring performance, compliance and contractual deliverables are consistently met. From overseeing energy output and resolving underperformance, to validating billing, managing risk and improving operational efficiencies, you'll drive both stability and growth. Acting as the senior point of contact for stakeholders, you'll manage escalations, oversee reporting, and work closely with engineering and deployment teams to ensure seamless execution and long-term asset performance.
Our client is an established and growing player in the renewable energy and distributed generation space, delivering funded solar and battery solutions into commercial and residential property environments. With a strong operational backbone and ambitious growth plans, the business blends technical expertise with commercial discipline. Proven experience at General Manager or Operations Manager level within a technical, asset-based or service-driven environment similar to renewable energy or infrastructure. Strong commercial and financial acumen is essential. Exposure to energy, utilities, engineering or technical operations will be highly advantageous. You must be comfortable managing performance, stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
Up to R100 000 CTC per month, fully covered medical insurance and 18 days' leave. This is a senior-level opportunity offering meaningful responsibility, influence and long-term growth within a scaling renewable energy business.
