Portfolio Accountant (Property) - Sandown - R45 000 to R35 000 C.T.C

About the position

Our Client is a market leader in the Property Management industry that offers a range of properties in the residential, commercial, industrial, and retail spheres. The Company requires a dynamic and enthusiastic Portfolio Accountant to look after a group of properties. Accuracy and efficiency are important in this role, as you will be managing Client Portfolios.
This individual needs to be competent and willing to take initiative. They also need to be able to work independently and be an analytical thinker who is organized and reliable.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Manage the Finances of the Buildings in your portfolio.
• Collections from Debtors.
• Maintain the Fixed Asset Register
• Calculation and Submission of VAT.
• Prepare Monthly Journals.
• Prepare Monthly Management Packs for Clients.
• Manage the Capex Budgets.
• Prepare weekly Cash Flow Journals.
• Work up to Trial Balance and Balance Sheet Reconciliations

Desired experience and qualifications:

• BCom Accounting is a non-negotiable requirement, but BCom honours would be preferred.
• SAICA Articles + 2 years of experience or 3-5 years of experience as an Accountant.
• Experience with MDA, MRI, or Navision is non-negotiable.

Package and remuneration:
R35 000 to R45 000 cost to company per month
