Our Client is looking for a Pool Waiter to join their team
Location: Franschhoek, Cape Town
Position Summary:
The Pool Waiter ensures a seamless and memorable food and beverage experience for guests in the pool and outdoor lounge areas. This includes anticipating guest needs, maintaining service excellence, and upholding the highest hospitality standards throughout each shift.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide warm, professional, and attentive service to all poolside guests.
- Present menus, take accurate orders, and deliver food and beverages promptly.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pool area, including sun loungers, umbrellas, and service stations.
- Set up and restock poolside service stations at the start of each shift.
- Address guest questions, requests, and complaints in a courteous and solution-focused manner.
- Monitor guest comfort and safety, offering towels, refreshments, or assistance as needed.
- Prepare and serve basic cocktails and beverages when required.
- Support other food and beverage departments as needed during busy service periods.
Experience and Competencies:
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role within a luxury or five-star hospitality environment.
- Strong understanding of food and beverage service, particularly in outdoor or poolside settings.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Energetic, professional, and guest-focused approach
Minimum Requirements:
- Matric or equivalent qualification.
- Basic wine and cocktail knowledge is beneficial.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
