What you will be doing:
- Contributing to portfolio planning, prioritisation, resource allocation, financial management (budgeting/forecasting), and supporting governance reviews/assessments.
- Applying predictive and diagnostic analytics, translating complex data into KPIs and trends (using tools like JIRA/Power BI), ensuring robust data quality/integrity, and promoting a data-driven performance culture.
- Streamlining portfolio processes through automation, integration, standardisation, championing innovation, and continuously evolving the portfolio management framework.
- Acting as a trusted partner to senior leaders, simplifying data into actionable information, providing portfolio-level recommendations to Executive/Investment Committees, and coaching PMO/project teams.
- Achieving effective/transparent portfolio management, demonstrable improvements in delivery efficiency and value realisation, enhanced confidence in data integrity, and actionable insights driving better investment decisions.
What our client is looking for:
- A relevant tertiary qualification would be beneficial (Business Analytics, Information Systems, Finance, etc.)
- Certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, PMI-PBA, or equivalent would be ideal.
- 4 - 6 years in portfolio management, PMO operations, or enterprise project governance.
- Advanced skills in JIRA, Power BI, Tableau, Excel, and data tools (SQL/Python). Experience with enterprise PPM systems is a plus.
- Proven ability to manage portfolio financials, resource allocations, performance metrics, and implement/maintain portfolio management frameworks.
- Excellent communication and visualisation for executive-level presentations, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and comfort operating in a complex, matrixed environment.
- Highly analytical, detail-oriented, continuous improvement focus, self-starter with a strong sense of ownership, and motivated by quality and business impact.
