My client based in Tygervalley is currently looking for a Platform Support Specialist to join their team on a contract basis.

Qualifications & Experience
- Tertiary qualification or relevant professional qualification
- Experience with XPLAN is highly recommended
- Exposure to problem-solving at a business level
- Experience in financial services or stockbroking is advantageous
- Commitment to routine and investigative/analytical work
Responsibilities
- Provide 1st line business support via 4Me for systems such as XPLAN and other business tools
- Troubleshoot technical issues and provide timely communication to branches on queries raised
- Navigate systems and provide guidance and support to end users
- Investigate, analyze, resolve, and advise on support issues, primarily within XPLAN
- Build and maintain relationships with end users to understand and improve daily operations
- Monitor trade execution and provide trading support to ensure smooth operations
- Conduct system monitoring, morning checks, and mapping of accounts
- Proactively monitor daily reconciliations to ensure client portfolios are always balanced
- Liaise with vendors to ensure timely resolution of technical or operational issues
- Work with project teams to investigate complex issues and implement solutions
- Partner with other departments to ensure proper allocation of issues raised by the business
- Maintain accurate procedural documentation and adhere to departmental procedures, including auditing, control, and incident management
- Perform data analysis to identify trends and recommend process or system improvements
- Participate in regression testing of UAT and production system upgrades
