About the position
Our client is looking for a highly skilled Platform Engineer to develop and maintain modern engineering platforms that enable scalable, secure, and automated software delivery. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional who enjoys building cloud-native platforms, implementing Infrastructure as Code, and driving DevOps best practices across enterprise environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain enterprise platform infrastructure supporting data and digital products.
- Develop self-service platforms and reusable engineering standards.
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines across multiple environments.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code.
- Support Kubernetes, container platforms, and cloud-native technologies.
- Improve platform observability, monitoring, security, and operational resilience.
- Collaborate with development, cloud, and data engineering teams to streamline deployments.
- Drive platform reliability, scalability, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
- 10+ years' experience in Platform Engineering, DevOps, or Site Reliability Engineering.
- Strong experience with CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code.
- Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and container orchestration technologies.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms and modern platform engineering practices.
- Strong scripting and automation experience.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Advantageous
- Experience with Azure, Kubernetes, and enterprise data platforms.
- Terraform, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or similar automation tools.
- Cloud and Kubernetes certifications.
- Experience supporting enterprise-scale engineering platforms.
