About The Employer:
Our client in Somerset West is looking for reliable, hardworking, and technically minded individuals to join their production team in an explosives manufacturing environment. This role requires individuals who can perform various operational tasks, including general work, housekeeping, machine operation, and material handling, to ensure the safe and efficient running of the production line.
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 (Matric).
- Previous experience in manufacturing, production, chemical operations, or an industrial environment.
- Chemical Engineering qualifications will be advantageous
- Experience operating production machinery or industrial equipment will be advantageous.
- Strong mechanical and technical aptitude.
- Code 10 driver's licence (for applicants applying for the driver position).
- Clear criminal and fingerprint record.
- Must be safety-conscious with a strong understanding of SHE principles and safe working practices.
- Physically fit and able to work in an explosives manufacturing environment.
- Willingness to work shifts and overtime when required.
- Must reside in Khayelitsha, Strand, Eerste River, Somerset West, Macassar, Firgrove, or surrounding areas.
