About the position

Our client in the Retail industry is currently looking to employ Planning Assistant based in East London.

The Planning Assistant supports the needs of the Planning and Allocating functions, being proficient across all tasks relating to these roles. Reports on key areas relating to business performance and produces material that aids decision making.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2years’ experience in a similar role / in a retail environment.
  • Minimum requirement of a Matric + 2 years’ experience in a similar role / in a retail environment.
  • Valid Driver’s Licence – Code 8 unendorsed
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel Skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.

  • Highly flexible and adaptable to suit departmental needs.

Responsibilities and expectations but not limited to:

  • Data exporting, collating and updating.
  • Data analysis.
  • Reporting on key areas.
  • Assist with planning processes.
  • Assist with allocating stock to stores.
  • Monitor workflow and assist where necessary.
