JOB DESCRIPTION
Key Responsibilities:
- Build effective and efficient relationships within the supply chain (Planning, Buying and DC teams, Import Suppliers, TFG GMP Division and TFG Freight Forwarders) to ensure on-time shipment and delivery of import orders.
- Manage the foreign currency process involved in placing orders.
- Working with Buyers and Planners to fully implement the Merchandise Strategy.
- Implement the Allocation Strategy according to store turnover and profile.
- Analytical support and feedback to influence the Planning and Buying teams.
- Liaising with stores and the Distribution Centre regarding queries.
- Replenishment management.
- Effective communication with Stores and Field teams.
- Manage the shipping process of orders with GMP and TFG freight forwarders.
- Ensure accurate and timeous placing of orders.
- Manage all aspects surrounding orders i.e. packaging, ticketing, claims, etc.
- Monitor the production process from order placement to delivery.
- Play a coordination role between suppliers, buying & planning, quality control, GMP and freight forwarders and distribution centre teams.
- Regular store visits where appropriate
Qualifications and Experience:
- Have a minimum of bachelor's degree
- Computer literacy on MS Word and MS Excel (intermediate to advanced)
- A minimum of 1-2 years Customer Assistant experience is essential
