About the position
Join a well established company for a fixed-term period of 3 months.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage SAP (AIP) production and material transactions, including receipting, issuing, and declarations.
- Plan and monitor raw material requirements based on production schedules.
- Manage raw material stock levels and availability.
- Coordinate material requirements and delivery schedules with suppliers.
- Issue and maintain supplier scheduling agreements.
- Conduct and coordinate stock takes and cycle counts.
- Investigate and resolve stock variances.
- Support production planning and identify potential material shortages.
- Maintain accurate SAP and inventory records.
- Liaise with Production, Procurement, Warehouse, and suppliers to ensure material availability.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Grade 12.
- Relevant qualification in Supply Chain, Logistics, Production Planning, or related field preferred.
- Experience in raw materials, inventory, or production planning.
- SAP (AIP) experience.
- Manufacturing environment experience preferred.
- Strong Excel, planning, analytical, and organisational skills.
- Good communication and problem-solving abilities.
