About the position
Location: Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Al Ain & Western Region, UAE
Employment Type: Permanent (2-year contract)
Start Date: Subject to licensing completion
You will be responsible for planning and administering physiotherapy treatment plans designed to alleviate pain, restore function, prevent disabilities, and promote overall fitness and health of patients in their homes.
Requirements:
- Qualification: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited institution
- Experience: Minimum 2 years post-qualification clinical experience
- License: Active HPCSA registration
- Good Standing: Valid Certificate of Good Standing (issued within 6 months)
- BLS Certification: Current BLS/CPR certification
- Language: Fluent English (spoken and written).
- Drivers Licence: Must hold a valid driver's license. The employer will assist in obtaining a UAE driver's license upon arrival
- Other: Ability to travel to patients' homes across assigned locations
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients with a variety of conditions, including musculoskeletal, neurological, and cardiothoracic conditions
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans using a range of techniques including exercises, manual therapy, and equipment
- Provide physiotherapy for orthopedic, neurological, geriatric, and post-operative patients
- Educate patients and caregivers on exercises, posture, and preventive care
- Test and measure patient's strength, motor development, function, and sensor perception
- Evaluate patient progress, reassess, and modify treatment programs as required
- Maintain accurate clinical records and progress reports
- Collaborate with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals in a multidisciplinary team approach
- Comply with DOH/DHA regulations and homecare standards
