About the position
To provide professional photography services for the company by planning, capturing, editing, managing and archiving high-quality photographic content that accurately documents legislative proceedings, stakeholder engagements, official events and institutional activities.
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Plan and prepare photo shoots in line with the planned event.
- Operate and maintain cameras, lenses, lighting equipment and other photographic tolls.
- Edit and retouch images using photo edit software.
- Organize, archive and manage digital image files.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications:
- Higher Certificate (NQF Level 5) in Photography, Visual Arts, Digital Media, Multimedia, Film Production or a related field.
- Valid driver's license will be an added advantage.
Experience:
- Six months’ practical photography experience demonstrated through a portfolio, internship, workplace learning programme, volunteer work or freelance assignments.
Knowledge and Skills requirements:
- Financial Regulations Proven experience as a photographer with a strong portfolio. Proficiency in photo editing software and digital photography techniques
- Good understanding and/or knowledge of legislative practices
- Knowledge of lighting, composition and camera settings.
- Creativity and artistic ability. Strong attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency with photograph equipment and software.
- Problem solving and adaptability skills.
