About the position
Job Summary:
We are seeking a mature, highly organized Personal Assistant to provide comprehensive administrative and operational support to the Head of Property Development and the Asset Manager - New Business. The successful candidate will assist with day-to-day administration, internal and external liaison, and various ad-hoc tasks to ensure smooth functioning of the department in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-level administrative support including filing, document management, and correspondence.
- Coordinate and follow up on information related to new property development.
- Liaise with internal departments and external stakeholders.
- Organize and manage calendars, schedule meetings, and make travel arrangements.
- Prepare and assist with PowerPoint presentations and other reports as required.
- Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
- Assist with other ad-hoc tasks as required by management, such as running errands as needed.
Requirements:
- Education: Matric minimum; additional administrative or secretarial training advantageous.
- Experience: Previous experience as a personal assistant or in administrative roles, preferably in property development, real estate, or business management.
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- High level of discretion and professionalism.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to run errands.
