About the position

We are looking for a sharp, reliable, and ambitious Personal Assistant to support a dynamic Managing Director within a fast-paced, professional environment focused on investment solutions and portfolio management.

This role is ideal for someone early in their career who wants to learn, grow, and earn their seat at the table. Please note that own car is essential for running errands.

What you’ll be doing:

You will play a key role in keeping operations running smoothly, while gaining exposure to senior-level business activity:

  • Managing diaries, scheduling meetings, and keeping priorities aligned
  • Coordinating travel arrangements and accommodation
  • Acting as a professional front-of-house point of contact (calls, guests, queries)
  • Taking meeting minutes and tracking key action points
  • Maintaining records, filing systems (electronic and manual), and documentation
  • Assisting with basic financial tracking (monthly income and expenses)
  • Running personal and business-related errands when required
  • Monitoring incoming requests and flagging urgent matters
  • Providing general administrative and ad hoc support to senior stakeholders
What we’re looking for:

  • Matric (essential)
  • Strong MS Office skills (especially Excel)
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail
  • Able to multitask and stay composed under pressure
  • Excellent communication skills and professional etiquette
  • A natural sense of urgency and accountability
  • Discreet, trustworthy, and dependable
  • A self-starter who doesn’t wait to be told twice
  • Own transport is essential
