About the position

Performance Marketer to join our team in Johannesburg and would appreciate your assistance in sourcing the best candidate for this role. Below are the key requirements:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Paid Media Management:

  • Plan, execute, and optimize PPC (pay-per-click) campaigns across Google Ads, Meta (Facebook & Instagram), LinkedIn, and other paid platforms.
  • Manage retargeting and prospecting campaigns to improve conversion rates.
  • Allocate and optimize ad spend based on performance insights.

Analytics & Performance Tracking:

  • Track, analyze, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as CTR, CPC, ROAS, and LTV.
  • Set up and manage Google Analytics 4 (GA4), Google Tag Manager (GTM), and conversion tracking tools.
  • Conduct A/B testing on ad creatives, landing pages, and audience segments.

SEO & CRO Optimization

  • Work with content and web teams to improve SEO rankings and organic traffic growth.
  • Optimize landing pages for better conversion rates (CRO - Conversion Rate Optimization).

Marketing Automation & CRM:

  • Integrate performance marketing efforts with CRM for lead scoring and segmentation.
  • Manage email marketing campaigns to enhance customer engagement and retention.

Collaboration & Strategy Development:

  • Collaborate closely with the Graphic Designer to create high-converting ad creatives.
  • Work closely with designers, copywriters, and developers to ensure cohesive marketing campaigns.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, algorithm changes, and new advertising technologies.
  • Develop and execute growth marketing strategies to drive customer acquisition and retention.

SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Design Skills: Ability to collaborate effectively with a Graphic Designer to align creative concepts with marketing [URL Removed] Management: Experience in managing and optimizing content for digital campaigns, including social media and email marketing.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills with proficiency in tools such as Google Analytics 4 (GA4), Google Tag Manager (GTM), and social media insights.
  • Data Interpretation: Ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable marketing strategies.
  • Knowledge of Tech Tools: Familiarity with the latest digital marketing tools and technologies, including CRM systems and marketing automation platforms.
  • People Skills: Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including designers, developers, and copywriters.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong project management, multitasking, and decision-making skills.
  • Creativity and Metrics-Driven Mindset: Metrics-driven marketing mind with an eye for creativity and a strategic approach to performance optimization.
  • A/B Testing and Optimization: Experience with A/B testing, data analysis, and campaign optimization.
  • Written and Verbal Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills for conveying campaign insights and recommendations.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years' experience in a Performance Marketing role or Digital Marketing position with a strong focus on Paid Media (PPC) and Digital Advertising.
  • Proven track record in managing and optimizing campaigns on platforms such as:
  • Google Ads
  • Meta (Facebook & Instagram) Ads
  • LinkedIn Ads
  • Experience with:
  • Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and Google Tag Manager (GTM)
  • A/B Testing and campaign optimization
  • Performance tracking metrics (e.g., CTR, CPC, CPA, ROAS, LTV)

The ideal candidate must also be customer-focused, with the ability to understand and address client needs.

Salary: R20K- R35K CTC
