We’re looking for an experienced People Development & Compliance Specialist to lead critical people initiatives and ensure compliance excellence within a dynamic and purpose-driven organisation.
About the Role:
Reporting to the Head of HR and soon supported by an HR Administrator, you will be instrumental in shaping a positive employee experience through structured onboarding, performance management, professional development, and wellness initiatives. Your role will also focus on HR compliance, statutory reporting, and ensuring all training-related activities are effectively managed through the organisation’s Training Hub.

Key Responsibilities:
- Drive employee engagement and seamless onboarding/offboarding processes.
- Support and guide line managers through probation and performance management.
- Oversee Employment Equity (EE) and Skills Development compliance and reporting (EEA2, EEA4, WSP, ATR).
- Manage HR aspects of BBBEE, YES initiatives, learnerships, and internships.
- Champion employee well-being and implement impactful wellness programmes.
- Maintain and manage HRIS for accurate employment equity and skills tracking.
- Lead the operation of the Training Hub to ensure timely, accurate, and accessible records of all internal learning activities.

Qualifications & Experience:
- A postgraduate degree in Human Resources Management, Industrial Psychology, or related field (preferred).
- 5–8 years' progressive HR experience with expertise in people development and compliance.
- Skills Development Facilitator (SDF) certification is essential.
- Proven experience with Employment Equity reporting, Skills Development submissions (WSP & ATR), and BBBEE scorecard elements.
- Solid working knowledge of HRIS systems and advanced MS Excel skills.
- Demonstrated success in managing onboarding, performance, and wellness programmes.
