About the position

Postion Summary:
SARAO has an exciting opportunity for a People & Culture Business Partner: Talent Acquisition, responsible for end to end recruitment and selection process by advertising internally and externally. Seek out talent, interview candidates and assist in the hiring process. Developing and recommending recruiting strategies to ensure a successful search in a given time frame.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead sourcing, screening, interviewing, and selection processes within agreed timeframes
  • Provide overall effective end-to-end recruitment and selection service to SARAO
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand workforce needs and define ideal candidate profiles
  • Response handling of all advertised positions
  • Headhunt suitably qualified candidates using Social Media Platforms and other recruitment platforms such as LinkedIn etc
  • Engaging with internal and external stakeholders in all recruitment related matters
  • Manage job ads across multiple platforms (NRF ESS Recruitment portal, LinkedIn, external job boards)
  • Ensure seamless offer management, vetting, and onboarding
  • Strengthen Hiring Manager Capability- Coach hiring managers on interview skills and selection best practices
  • - Ensure alignment between job competency frameworks, assessments, and recruitment processes
  • Employer Branding & EVP Activation- Activate our EVP through recruitment marketing and external branding initiatives
  • Reporting & HR Insights- Generate weekly, monthly, and annual recruitment reports
  • - Provide analytics that support decision-making and capacity planning

Minimum Qualification:
  • Diploma / Advanced Certificate / NQF 6

Minimum Experience:
  • 5-5 years
  • NQF 6 or 7: Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field, or equivalent

Experience:
  • 5 years relevant HR experience specialising in recruitment and selection
  • Recruiting junior and senior positions in specialised environment
  • Recruitment administration
  • Advising line managers on best practices and legislative requirements

Knowledge:
  • Recruitment processes
  • BCEA, EE Act, and any other relevant legislation
