About the position

JOB PROFILE

Position: People & Organisation (HR) Support Assistant
Reporting to: Head of People & Organisation
Purpose of the role: To provide support to the P&O Head on related activities

Requirements:
Post matric HR Qualification
Approximately 2 years HR experience
Computer literacy (Knowledge of SAP would be an added advantage but not essential)

Summary of Duties:

  • Facilitate the process of sourcing candidates for vacant positions.
  • Update hirings status on recruitment tracking system (SAP)
  • Coordinate onboarding of new employees
  • Assist with the compilation of Work Skills Plan (WSP) and Annual Training Report (ATR) of the company
  • Assist with Employment Equity Committee activities
  • Jnr PBP for interns, and smaller departments
  • Coordinate employee benefits activities (pension fund, medical aid)
  • Assist in employee wellness activities (ICAS)
  • Provide general HR Support to local employees
  • Process invoices on SAP system, load new vendors on WeBuy system
  • Coordinate Digital Recruitment Days
  • Coordinate P&O teambuilding activities
  • Any other reasonable instruction that management may give.
