About the position
We are looking for a skilled, dynamic and driven Mid-range to Senior VoIP Technician with extensive networking knowledge to join our technical team. While you will be based in our JHB and CPT office, you will be providing support on an internaltional stage. Please note - This is a night shift to accomodate US hours - i.e. 15:00 - 01:00 You will primarily be responsible for all PABX, SIP, VoIP, Networking, Firewalling and Routing related queries, but your duties will extend to support other parts of the infrastructures from time to time. You will provide remote and on-site support as and when required, but you will only attend to assigned tickets, and all communication will route via our Helpdesk. You must be able to coordinate amongst 3rd party providers, other technical staff and the client in order to troublshoot systems, as well as plan & assist with new installations and upgrades. You must have a proven track record that shows a stable career path and strong work ethics. Requirements (5-10 years IT background): In order to apply for this position you will need your own transport. Please note - Employment of successful candidates will be subject to ITC and criminal history checks along with a basic polygraph test for any potential drug abuse history.
