Payroll Supervisor at manufacturers

About the position

Leading manufacturers of food processing equipment, ingredients and spices based in Cape Town

We currenly hiring a remuneration and benefits manager with at least 5 year plus experience
preferably a diploma in accounting or finance is /a bcom accounting degree or CA(SA)similar not negotiable

The successful candidate will have a Payroll and HR Administrator that will report directly into them. This position will report directly into Finance.

OUR client currently outsources their payroll so payroll is done manually, they are planning on bringing this function back in-house. PayOffice - HRFocus system is used.

• Currently payroll is manually captured on a spreadsheet and uploaded and sent to an external company to process. Payslips are then sent to the payroll supervisor and these payslips are then uploaded onto employee self service on MyFocus on HRFocus - online system.
• The payroll system "utilises" is PayOffice - HRFocus system.
• Approximately 1000 permanent and fixed term contractors are paid via this system
• This entire payroll system will probably have to be brought inhouse at some point but the candidates must understand that they will have to manage this manually until we decide to change the system and process.
