Payroll Specialist (EE)
Location: Montague Gardens, Cape Town
Salary: Negotiable up to R48,000 CTC

Role Summary
Responsible for the end-to-end monthly payroll function, including payroll processing, statutory submissions, reconciliations, reporting, and payroll record management.
Key Responsibilities

• Process monthly payroll and payroll changes accurately and timeously.
• Prepare payroll packs, EFTs, and Fihrst schedules.
• Reconcile payroll to General Ledger.
• Manage SARS submissions and bi-annual IRP5s.
• Handle third-party payments (Medical Aid, Pension/Provident, etc.).
• Compile monthly, quarterly, and annual payroll/HR reports.
• Administer leave on ESS/VIP Premier and reconcile attendance data.
• Maintain payroll and employee records.
• Support annual increases, bonuses, and HR initiatives.

Requirements

• 5-8 years' payroll experience.
• Relevant HR, Finance, or Business qualification (advantageous).
• Strong payroll systems experience (VIP Premier / ESS / Fihrst non-negotiable).
• Very strong MS Excel skills (Pivot Tables; Vlookups)
• High attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
• Good communication skills and team-oriented approach.
