About the position


DBN000128– Payroll Officer – Dube Tradeport  
 
Purpose of the job:
To ensure that employees are paid accurately and on time.
 
Required Qualifications

  • Human Resources or Payroll Qualification
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience working with VIP Payroll Software
  • Minimum of 1 years’ experience working with  Sage People 300 software experience
  • Must have Excellent knowledge of payroll administration legal requirements and tax regulations.
  • Minimum of 5 years of demonstrated expertise managing payroll, preferably in a big, hectic business setting.

Technical Competencies and responsibilities

  • Accurately & promptly process monthly salary & wages fortnightly
  • Before the Payroll Manager gives final approval, review & confirm every payroll output
  • Handle any payments from external parties, such as union dues and legal garnishees.
  • All incentive payments and pay raises should be prepared and processed.
  • Compile and electronically distribute employee payslips
  • Oversee the administration of full leave, making sure that all tracking and processing are accurate.
