We seek an experienced, detail-oriented payroll manager to join our team. As a payroll manager, you will oversee all aspects of payroll processing, ensuring accuracy, compliance and timely payments of employees at our organisation. You will also collaborate with various departments to gather and validate payroll information, resolve payroll discrepancies and provide exceptional service to our employees. Objectives of this role:
- Overseeing end-to-end payroll processing, including salary calculations, deductions and benefits administration
- Preparing payroll reports, conducting audits and ensuring compliance with labour laws and tax regulations
- Maintaining accurate employee records and collaborating with HR and finance departments
- Processing new hires, terminations, promotions and other employee status changes
Your tasks:
- Manage end-to-end payroll processing and ensure accuracy and compliance
- Administer and maintain payroll systems and collaborate with other departments
- Monitor and resolve payroll discrepancies, generate reports and address employee inquiries
- Stay updated on payroll regulations and implement necessary changes
- Ensure compliance with SARS, UIF, SDL and BCEA requirements.
Minimum Requirements:
- Diploma/ Degree in HR or related field
- 5+ years payroll experience (3+ in management role)
- Strong knowledge of South African payroll legislation
